Spring Style Forecast 2018 – Hint: More Brrrrr!

Of course as I’m writing this post, celebrating the first day of spring, it’s cold, cloudy and snowing. Ugh!

Dangit Groundhog! You just had to see your shadow.

But no worries, warmth is still heading our way – Hallelujah!

What are we expecting?

Forecasters* have agreed that temperature wise, the majority of the US may experience the same, cooler temperatures for the month of March. Unfortunately, the Northern half of US, from the Pacific Northwest to New England, will still feel the shivers.

As for the southern US, you can finally start planning your outdoor brunch parties…close to early April. Since the warmer air will come to fruition-from Southern California to the Southeast US. However, before you start pouring out unlimited mimosas residents of southwest and Florida, add a pitcher of water to your meal. You’ll will most likely experience little to no rain at least in April.

As for those in the Southeast, Tenn Valley and the Gulf Coast, don’t get too comfortable with the warm weather alone because severe Thunderstorms may be heading your way as early as this month.

How should we prepare?

Light Coat – Banana Republic – Similar // Patent Leather Ankle Boots – Steve Madden – Similar

Couple of things:

Remember, spring is a transitional season from Winter to Summer. So we’ll have a roller coaster of temperatures – a case of cool mornings and warm afternoons or vice versa.  So definitely keep your light coats and jackets with you, everywhere you go.

Of course wet days in the DMV are likely. Instead of rain boots, patent leather would be another idea to wear. Just make sure the bottom has a rough surface, to prevent any slips.

What’s the one item you’re wearing for spring?
